MACHINE WOULD CYCLE THROUGH AND SHUT DOWN BEFORE PRODUCING ICE. WOULD NOT CYCLE AND GET EXTREMELY HOT
After identifyng the cracked water pan and questionable pump, I ordered parts. After they arrived it took lees than 30 minutes to remove and replace both pan and pump. Within an hourI had ice production. With 24 people coming for a party it was nice to hear the ice dropping. Saved a total of $300 by purchasing parts myself and installing them vs an estimate from a repair company.
