Engine Shutoff Cable Snapped
I removed the bolt holding the bracket on the handle bar with a wrench 7/16? I unhooked the end clip to the stop bar. The other end of the cable required removing the top cover of the engine, 2 phillips screws. Replacing cable, I put the engine clip on first because of the spring then attached the other end. Replaced the bolt, adjust ed the cable length for the engage to the self propelled also. Tightened the bolt and tested. Replaced the top cover and mowed the lawn. I sprayed the cable with silicone spray to help it not to rust.
