During a recent move, the Fabric Select knob was broken off, along with the plastic stem connecting the knob with the selection switch.
Unplug the washer. Pull off the old knob, if it is still attached. Remove two recessed screws and two hex screws from the back of the control panel. Flip the panel up. Pull the plastic clip holding the switch up, and pull the switch assembly off the panel. Gently pull the three sets of wires from the old switch, and push them onto the new one. Insert assembly into panel, applying pressure until the clip clicks into place. Flip panel back over and align. Replace the four screws.
