Freezer had frost. Refrigerator would not cool
I defrosted the freezer and saw the old defrost thermostat had broken and popped open. I cut the wires close the broken thermostat, stripped the wires and attached the new defrost thermostat by twisting the wires into the included wire nuts and caulking them in. I did not bother replacing the defrost timer 'cause "if it aint broke, don't fix it." Freezer and fridge work like new. $7.27 part is better than a new fridge. Youtube videos helped as well, since I know nothing about this type of repair. Very easy repair. Unplug appliance first and look for melted water under fridge when done.
