Product Description

This surface burner switch, also known as an infinite switch, controls the heat level of stovetop burners. When you turn the knob, the switch adjusts the power to the burner for precise temperature control. If your burner won’t heat properly, overheats, or stays at a fixed temperature, the switch may need replacement. Compatible with various ranges and cooktops, this part is sold individually and does not include mounting hardware. To install, disconnect the appliance from power, remove the control knobs and panel, then use a screwdriver and pliers to replace the switch, following a wiring diagram for proper connections.

How do I know if I need a 240v switch or the other one that doesn't have 240v in the name? part number WPLW11120791

Fan did not turn on, switch worn out
Clipped wires off old switch. Attached new wire clips to wires and attached to terminals on new switch. Turned off power first, of course. Works great. Paid for a service call who said couldn't be fixed. Should have found your site first!

Burner Control not functioning
Turn off Power
Remove four screws under control panel.
Remove old burner knob and loosen old control
Lowered Burner Panel from range
Remove 5 wire connectors from old burner control
with pliers
Remove 2 screws that held burner control to range
panel, these were torx head screws.
Install new burner control
Rplace two screws to burner control
Replace 5 wire connectors to new burner control
Replace 4 screw under panel, slightly tricky to align screw holes but very manageable.
Replace knob to new burner control
Turn on electricity, good as new.
