The heater chamber end was damaged and out off round in shipping
My neighbor was a maintenance man who was able to use his crimping tool to rework the chamber and flare the chamber to fit the heat duct to the dryer drum. Once the chamber was secured the job was simple! The videos really helped!

No Heat at all
Front cover removal was very easy! A few screws and I'm at the guts to make my repair.

Removal of the Heater Housing was also very easy a few screws and it was out. The replacement was a good match but the end that goes into the duct was not perfectly round. I messed with it for several minutes, ended up taking pliers and ch amfering it to fit in and it did very well with NO issues with my modification.

Buttoned the unit up and it worked perfectly!

I went with Overnight Shipping and got the Heater Housing the next day, but the Thermostat took two additional days even though they listed it as "In Stock". I would have used it if it came at the same time, but I ended up not needing it anyway and returned it for a effortless refund.

When looking for the replacement part, Fix.com had the right part I needed, where other Sites listed something else.

Very pleased with the Product, Price and Customer Service!

reaching the screw in back
get a long screww driver so it reaches easily. After I did that it took less than 1 hour.

Not heating
Remove the front of the dryer. Two screws toward the bottom front. Disconnect the door switch (pull-off connectors). Disconnect two wires to the heating assembly. Remove two small screws from front plate and remove. Remove one small screw front bottom inside heater assembly and one screw at the back of the dryer. Remove the old heater a nd reverse the process. Took about fifteen minutes and the thirty year old dryer should run another thirty!

Replace Heater & Housing Assembly and HL Thermostat
Goggled instructions to learn how to remove old parts and install new parts. Most difficult was putting the screw in the back of the heater assembly and removing screws from old thermostat to use to install new thermostat on new heater assembly. New thermostat did not come with screws. The housing on the heating unit was too long and had difficulty getting front end of the heating unit fastened to the bottom of the dryer. Once completed, dryer working fine.

My dryer has recently lost heat. So I ordered this part, got it in just a few days. Watched the install video associated with the part. I did remove the whole tumbler assembly as I thought it was easier to work on without that being in the way. Overall the video was very helpful and the part works great.
