Wanted to change color from "almond" to white.
Top and two sides hold panel like a window frame holds a screen. The bottom is flat and is secured by a strip of flexible plastic like a zip lock bag. Pull off bottom strip, slide panel in and replace the plastic strip. Before ordering the part, remove the old panel. To my surprise, behind the almond panel I removed was the very panel (w hite on one side black on the other) I had ordered. I don't know if that was standard as the machine came with the house.

Dishwasher door panel insert was damaged
The replacement door panel is shipped with GOOD INSTRUCTIONS. Read them and follow them. Note - do not try to disassemble the door to remove the panel before getting the instructions. The Illustrated Parts Catalogs on the web are great for locating the part number, but infer one must disassemble parts of the door to get the panel out. You simply remove the black vinyl trim piece at the bottom of the panel, and slide the colored panel out. It is unfortunate the instructions are not readily available online when ordering the part.

Front panel on dishwasher was scratched
So easy! Remove the bottom rubber gasket on the front panel. Slide the old panel out, slide the new panel in and replace the gasket. Took about 1 minute.
