Product Description

The pan slide track allows the drawer (also called a snack pan) to slide in and out easily. If the drawer does not easily pull out or push back in, the slide track may be damaged and need to be replaced. Too much weight in the pan or on the shelf may be the cause of this damage. Replacing this part is simple and does not require any tools to complete the repair. Remove both the snack pan and the shelf from the fridge, and place the shelf on a solid surface, being careful not to put excess pressure on the glass shelf. Then remove the damaged track by unlocking the pins and the tabs from their holder. Line up the new track, and push into place until it locks. Place the shelf back into your fridge, and the snack pan should now easily slide into place. Please note that these tracks are sold individually but can be used on both the right and left sides of the shelf. This is a genuine OEM part, that is white in color and measures approximately 12 inches in length.

Tack out drawer, take out rack assy. Slide old track out. the new track just slides into cut outs of shelf mounts. My new track had some plastic islands/bumps that made it too tight to get in. I shaved down necessary areas until it went together.

Pinched my thumb
Taking the old part out it pinched my thumb when trying to slide it out. The new part went in very easy with no problems. The hardest part was cleaning off the shelf so I could remove it to install the new parts.

pan slide track broken
I used a tack hammer to remove old slide track. Tapped it out gently rather than pushing out using my fingers. Next I used a file to sand down 2 nubs that protrude. Compare visually to broken part being replaced and you'll see how much to sand down. Line up new slide and use tack hammer at front of slide to tap into position. Should pop in with little to no force.
