Agitator moves back and forth maybe a half inch to inch, will not advance time from wash to spin or rinse no matter what wash setting it is on. This is a Maytag Commercial Washing Machine. Makes a clicking noise as it agitates a short distance than what it should be agitating.

During a recent move, the Fabric Select knob was broken off, along with the plastic stem connecting the knob with the selection switch.
Unplug the washer. Pull off the old knob, if it is still attached. Remove two recessed screws and two hex screws from the back of the control panel. Flip the panel up.
