MIcrowave did not have the appropriate mounting plate for above the range installation.
I purchased the necessary mounting bracket and installed it but then found out that the microwave was defective. I was able to return the merchandise to PartSelect without a problem. Will definitey go to Part Select the next time I need replacement parts.

The inside seal on my microwave door was burned.
After watching a utube video on how to disassemble a microwave door by using a putty knife, I was able to get to the window glass and clean off the black smoke mark left by a seriously burned plastic seal. I snapped the layers of the door back together, peeled off the damaged seal and stuck on the new one. It worked perfectly and was a very cheap fix. Now I just have to make sure my children don't hide metal cake pans in the microwave again! :)
