washer would not advance, spin correctly, agitate
removed the screws from the rear of washer, had to pry the knob off from the front, then release the screw on the front of the timer to remove it. Installed new timer, then problem with lining up the sequence of the timer and the cycles printed on the console, i.e. glentle wash with intermittent agitation became regular wash; however

, new timer DID NOT solve the problem....still not advance properly, spin correctly, going to try the lid switch replacement, would suggest anyone try the lid switch first.
