Product Description

This is a door boot, also known as a door gasket or door bellows, for various models of washing machines. This door boot is used to seal the inner drum of the washing machine from the inside of the washing machine cabinet, and the outside of the appliance itself. If you are noticing soap or water leaks, or if the inner drum of your washer is significantly loose and/or showing signs of tearing, this boot will need to be replaced. To remove this boot, you will need a set of pliers to remove its clamp. This boot is sold as an individual OEM part, so any necessary clamps or parts to secure it are sold separately.

I have an Electrolux washer and I’m trying to replace the door seal. I already bought one and my washer is leaking. Is this the correct model seal to fit my washer? Any help would be appreciated.

Don’t even try it
It’s not hard to remove the bellows but reinstalling is a nightmare. The spring has to be spread so far it is virtually impossible to get on. Installation videos show securing it with clamps, good luck with that. I got it halfway on and it just sprung off allowing my hand to shoot upward into the washer top bracket which by the way is q uite sharp on the bottom. Sharp to the extent that it slit the lower knuckle on my right thumb to the bone and now I sit here with a swollen hand and seven stitches. I doubt they will publish this but if they do my recommendation is don’t even try and by the way I am experienced over many years and have never had a problem installing anything except this.
