Product Description

The door latch lid lock is to lock the door on your washer when the appliance is in use. Your washer will not start if your door is not locked. If your latch is broken, you may not be able to start a cycle or open your washer door. It is mostly black in color and made of plastic. This part measures approximately 3.75 by 3.5 inches.

Problem with the machine starting to spin

Hello Frances, thank you for writing. How do you reset the spin cycle on a GE washer? To reset the electronic controls on your washer, shut off the circuit breaker or fuse to the washer or unplug the washer for 2 minutes. For models that have a timer control knob, turn the knob around and back to any position other than final spin for the interrupted cycle. Then, restore power.
