I was having the problem that the fridge was getting too cold. I tried to buy a replacement thermistor but I was sold part number WR55X10025. The issue continues, but I am wondering if I was sold the wrong part, and I can't find the technical details. Is the resistance is the same between these two parts?

I’m looking to replace the thermistor in the refrigerator control panel. It looks like the one you have in the video, but your video shows the thermistor replacement in the freezer section. Is it the same as the fridge, it seems like they should be different.. would you let me know what the resistance should be and which part I should order?
Thanks,

The upper fridge section freezes food. I assume it’s either the thermistor, the damper or the control board. The damper has no blockage and seems to stay open. Is there a way to check it is operational by applying a voltage to see if it will close? Or is there another way to check it?
