metal door stop was broken which allowed the fridge door too much swing... impacting granite counter.

attaching door stop
The door must be removed to get at the screws holding the door stop on. The key is the type of screws. My model used the "star" bit for my screwdriver. That's a six-sided bit. Once the right tool was used, no problem at all.

Replaced door stop and door closing cam
Removed 2 long screws on each part, installed the new part and re-assembled. My GE Monogram refrigerator had screws / bolts that requiored a STAR bit rather than a socket. Keeping the star bit in the screw was difficult since screws are on the bottom of the door and longer than you think.Have the proper star bit and it's not that tough.
