Product Description

This is a genuine OEM replacement hinge bearing for your refrigerator door. If the door is making a clicking or popping sound when opening and closing, you may need to replace the hinge bearing. The tools needed to complete this repair are a Philips screwdriver, a putty knife, and a 3/8 wrench. You will need to remove all the items in the door bins before beginning this repair. You will need to take the fridge door off the hinges and place it on a suitable work surface. You can then use the putty knife to pry the old hinge bearing off the door, and then tap the new one into place. This part is black in color and is sold individually.

The original broke off even with the door
I used a wood screw into the plastic and pulled it out with a pair of plyers. New one fit in perfectly.

Hinge bearing on bottom of food cracker and broke apart
I followed the video ion the web site. The repair wav very easy. I took of the door, the hinge bearing was broken off inside the hole. I had to pry it out with needle nose pliers. Than I inserted the new bearing, tapped it into place and put the door back on.

Door would pop everytime you open or closed it
Empty the refrigerator door was hard part. Kept drinking the diet coke stored there. Took off the top hinge cover removed the top hinge by removing the two hex bolts. lifted off the door laid it on a table and replaced the lower hinge part. My only regret is not takeing it off first and to see in the bottom plastic retainer was cracked . I could've ordered it at the same time and saved shipping. Put it back together 15 min tops. Wheres my diet coke...hmmmm

the door started to click and feel like it was dropping from level to a lower level
just as described in the video i loosed the tops screws from the door and then lifted the whole door placed on a table and with a spatula i removed the hinge i installed the new part i hammered a little to place it well and re install the door the botton part first the i closed it and re installed the upper hinge but before i tighed the s crews i check if the he door was level corrected and adjusted and finally tighed the screws i replaced the pastic cover and it the door feels like new again.

Loud popping noise and small black plastic pieces on floor.
First and foremost examine and determine the exact part need to make repairs. I did not which caused a part re-order for additional part. This ref had a cover plate that covered top edge of both doors (remove the five screws attaching this to ref) and then remove top door hinge with socket wrench. Door gasket magnet will hold door in place momentarily. Remove and place door on small table. Remove the two plastic hinge pieces and install new parts. Reassemble and that's the end of the storyk.
