What are the symptoms of a defective inlet valve

Hello Bobby, Thank you for the question. When a valve is defective, it may not release water to the Ice Maker or Water Dispenser. It can at times become stuck open and over fill the Ice Maker or allow water to drip at the Dispenser. We hope this helps!

Hi Andrew, thank you for your question! If water is not dispensing from the water dispenser, check the water filter that it is not clogged or may not be seated properly. Remove and reinstall the water filter. Make sure the water tube in the door is not frozen. If the water supply tube is frozen, thaw it out. In addition, ensure that the freezer is kept at the proper temperature. The freezer temperature should be kept from 0 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit. If the freezer is too cold, the water line may freeze. If this does not help, we would recommend checking the dispenser control board, part number FIX12712283. We hope this sorts out your problem!
