Product Description

The retainer bars on your fridge and freezer door help to keep jars and containers from falling off the shelves when the doors are opened. If part of it become damaged, it should be replaced in order to keep your food items secured. This genuine OEM part is an end cap for the left-hand side of the retainer bar. Replacing this part is a simple repair and may require the use of a flat blade screwdriver. To replace this part, remove the entire retainer bar from the door, use the screwdriver to pop off the damaged end cap, and insert the new one ensuring that the tabs are locked in place.

my door shelf retainer bar broke

As stated, the retainer bar is cut to fit.
Simply measured and cut bar to fit with a hacksaw.

Replaced new Retainer bars and Endcaps. Very easy installation . My only concern will they break again. They seem very flimpsy and I am afraid to place anything on the shelf. Comments appreciated. Thanks
