My freezer section is too warm but the fridge is too cold.
Have to use minimum setting to stop fridge from freezing eggs, but then the freezer does not properly freeze. Seems that the distribution of cold air is not correct. Could this be a damper stuck open?
For model number FFHT1514TW4
Hi Peter, thank you for reaching out. We would recommend checking the door gasket first. If it is fine, the issue is most probably with the evaporator fan motor, part number FIX11775575. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!

Freezer quit working after power outage
Tried to get the Appliance store to accept me dropping off freezer, they would not. Only way to repair was $90 arrival fee, plus troubleshooting and parts. Probably $300+ job. I looked at back of freezer and saw there are only probably 3 things that could go wrong. With internet help, I decided it was probably the Run-Capacitor and or

Compressor controller. So I ordered both. Unplugged the old one, plugged in the new one, and for $50 I got my nearly new freezer working again. Thanks!

Defrost Timer require more triming than showed on Parts Select to fit my bracket
I followed installation video. My freezer defrost timer required a lot of triming to fit my bracket, but it worked great. My advise to repair is replace all 4 items at once to save time and money for freight.

Easy Peasy
It was the weekend when we discovered our freezer was not working. Started looking for a replacement we found the average cost was about $700. Because we lost everything it was quite a mess to clean up and took more time then we thought, anyway after looking at the back of the freezer while it was pull out it didn’t look like there was much to it. I went online to search for a possible problem, I checked the run capacitor for continuity...it tested negative. I ordered the replacement part Monday expedited the freight arrived Tuesday and within 10 minutes the freezer was up and running like new again. I saved $$$
