Product Description

This switch controls the stovetop surface burner. This surface element control switch is for ranges. Surface element control switch turns the surface element on and off and controls how much heat the element produces. Unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the range before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Replaced both elements and thermal fuse after bottom element burnt up oven elements will not come on?

8" Burner on front left side was overheating
Called Whirlpool, Parts and Appliance Dept, spoke to a very nice and helpful young lady who understood exactly what I needed. My electric stove front burner was overheating. Ordered the part "Infinite Switch", called my handyman and he fixed it in a couple of minutes. It is now working as before. Fully satisfied.

Took back off and unplugged old switch plugged in new and put back on. Easiest repair I have had in quite a while.

Removed back panel (8 screws ) removed switch (2 screws) removed one wire at a time and placed on new switch and reversed the procedure 9
