Is the upper fan assembly (location 5) different than lower fan assembly (location 6)? Is the upper right hand threaded or left hand threaded? Do the fans spin in opposite directions with different fan blades? Are there different part numbers for the cap nut for the upper and lower fans on this electric flex duo range? Thanks!

Hello Helen, Thank you for your inquiry. This part number (the upper fan assembly) is a reverse/left hand thread. The fan blade will spin according to the way the shaft is threaded, in this case to the left/counterclockwise. The lower fan motor is part# FIX4240737 and has a right hand thread, which turns the blade to the right/clockwise. The cap nut would be the same part number for both fans. We hope this helps.
