oven overheating and would not turn off w/o unplugging it
This repair can be done much quicker and easier than I did it. I started out by removing trim to get to the control board. This was not necessary. First i pulled the oven door. Remove 2 screws and keepers above hinges, set door to broil position and lift up. Door will pull up and off. With this out of the way, find 4 screws on outter

edge that hold oven to the wall. Dont confuse these with the screws that look the same as the ones you pull to remove the door, these screws have a smaller head and are closer to the outside. Once these screws are removed, find a helper, and with one person on each side, pull the oven out of the wall. It will be helpful if you have a table or sawhorses prepared to sit the oven on. Once the oven is removed from the wall, look inside the oven & find the old temp sensor (mine was in top left hand corner). Remove the 2 screws that hold it in place. Now go to back of oven and trace the wires coming from the temp sensor to where it plugs in. Remove old sensor, but do not discard ! In my case (as many others). I had to cut the old plug off and solder it on the new sensor. I used heat shrink to cover solder splice. Replace oven and door in reverse order of removing. Fixed my oven for $25-$30 verses spending $900 for a new one !
