Product Description

If the racks in your oven have become discolored, or if you need a spare, this is a genuine OEM replacement. The rack is used to hold cookware in the oven, and slides in and out of the oven for easy access. The rack is chrome in color and measures approximately 24-inches wide by 17.5-inches deep. No tools are needed to complete this repair, simply line up the stop end of the rack and slide it into place. Please note that the racks need to be removed from the oven prior to using the self-cleaning mode.

Extra oven rack
My mother-in-law always prepares family dinners on the Holidays and special occasions. It always seemed like she could use an extra oven rack to heat up the trays of food she prepares. I'm giving her the extra rack for her summer birthday as sort-of-a gag but practical gift. I think she will like it.

both the top and bottom trim were rusty
I started with the bottom trim because that looked easier. That was really simple and fast but then I discovered the bottom trim had to come off to replace the top trim. To do that I had to remove every screw in the door. I got the trim on and the handle and endcaps back on but couldn't get the screws holding the inside and outside of the door together aligned with the holes. I ended up taking it to our local repair shop. They were kind enough to finish the job at no charge.
