The surface burner would not turn off.
Before I removed the switch, I color coded the wires with the connectors. After I installed the new one, I followed the diagram and it was fixed. By the way before I started, I unplugged the oven.

Burner temperature difficult to control
Turn the breaker to off position then.remove (2) button head screws at the bottom of the panel then .pull the range away from the wall. Remove knobs and (2) screws at the top of the control panel. Pull the control panel toward you to expose the burner switches. Remove (2) screws off the burner switch. Remove one connecting wire at a tim e and transfer it to the new switch.
