oven thermostat dial worn out/over rotating
turn gas off and unplug stove/oven. lift stove access and locate thermostat dial and connections. familiarize your self with the wire connections and thermostat lead route before removing any parts. locate the thermostat element inside your oven. in this model it is located inside the oven on the left hand side upper corner. GENTLY remove the clips that hold the element of the thermostat inside the oven. use some needle nose pliers to achieve this. one the clips with the thermostat element are removed loosen the clamps of the element and remove. follow the element wire up into/though the burner and to the thermostat housing. mark the wires to the thermostat housing. or take a pic of it. unscrew the two screws that hold the housing to the stove and remove. install the new housing in its place and screw it back to the stove. run the thermostat element back the same route it was removed. install the clamps on the thermostat element before attaching it to the side of the oven. BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE OR BEND THE ELEMENT DURING INSTALLATION. once the clips are on the element clip them back to their original location they should snap right back in. reconnect the wires back on the thermostat housing in the stove compartment. turn gas on, plug stove/oven back on and fire up. for me it seemed like the more I used it the more efficient the thermostat response was. its not super easy. but it is not difficult. but be patient. take pics it really helps especially for the install.

Bad oven thermostat
Unscrewed the thermostat from plate, and unhooked the probe inside the oven. Pulled out the probe through the top of the oven . Insert new the prob, and install thermostat back on to plate. Done!!!
