burned out oven element
unplug the oven from electricity and remove 2 phillips screws and pulled out the element and detached it from the wires. attached the new element to the electric supply and pushed it even with the back of the oven and put the screws back in.

Lower bake element stopped working
First, I turned off the circuit breaker on the house electricity panel. I removed the two screws that held the element in place in the oven. There were two wires connected to the element by spade plugs that were free floating in a fiberglass pad. I connected the spade plugs to the new element and mounted it with the two screws. I turned o n the circuit breaker, then turned on the oven. It worked like a charm!
