How to disassemble the door so new handle can be installed
For model number MH7140XFB0

Hi Bob, Thank you for choosing us for the repair. Thank you for your question. Before you begin any repair please unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. You will need to remove the plastic lining around the inside of the door. There are retainer clips holding the liner in place and you will need to use a putty knife to remove it. Depending on the type of microwave you have, you may have to come in from the bottom or from the top to remove the lining. Gently slide the putty knife in between the lining and the frame and go around the frame and gently pry it loose. On the hinge side you will need to come in from the backside to pry the lining off. If after you remove the lining you only see 2 screws, unthread them to see if the handle will come off. If it does not come off, you will have to remove the inside door panel in the same way you removed the lining. Once removed, unthread the remaining 2 screws and remove the old handle. Install the new door handle and reinstall both the inner door panel and the lining. Restore power to the microwave and everything should now work for you. Good luck!

The handel to my microwave had come off
I had some cracks in the front panel of my Microwave and the handle had come off when I tried to open the door. So I ordered the front panel and the handle for my microwave. I preyed off the front panel by placing the the screw drivers flat end under the lip of the front panel and gently prying it away from the metal door in a few seconds

the panel was off. I got the screws off the old door handle and placed the new handle and took the glass from the old panel and attached it to my new front panel then placed the end of the panel at an angle starting at the end with hinges and pressed firmly with my hand also with the door open you can place you fingers around both the frame and the front panel to squeeze together and it will fit in place. Pretty easy for a amateur. The light bulbs I just replaced them one by one
