Does this happen to be a high failure part? Symptom- turntable turns when door open, magnetron only comes on after start button pushed.

Hello Wiliam, Thank you for contacting us. This part allows the microwave door to open and close smoothly and is supposed to withstand frequent use, and is also part of the door latch body that holds the door switches. Although it can become damaged, we do not show it as a high failure part. We would recommend checking the 3 door switches first to fix your issue, which you can do with a multimeter. There are two of part# FIX4131192 and 1 of FIX4131190. We hope this helps.
