Where does this spring attach
For model number M115-38

Hi James and thank you for contacting us. Locate part 28 (extension spring) in the diagram and then you can see that it attaches to part 5 (the deck brake assembly) which attaches to the cutting deck and the other end attaches to part 44 (the spacer) and part 11 (the bolt) which attaches to the cutting deck.
