One of the wires on the isce cutting grid was broken.
My husband repaired it. It took him less than ten minutes. He said it was very easy and not time consuming at all. Will not be hesitant to order from you again.

Replacing cutting grid wire
Removal of the cutting grid assembly is very easy. 2 1/4 inch screws to remove on each side, then disconnect the wiring from the plugs on each side and lift out. There is a screw on each end of the wire holding it down. Simply loosen those to take the old wire off. Start at one end by wrapping around the first screw and tighten the screw down to hold in place. Then begin wrapping the wire from end to end. I used needle nose pliers to keep it as rigid and tight as possible. I also used my fingers to straighten while I pulled tight. Then wrap the other end around the second screw and you are done. Worked like new.

Ice Cutting Grid Wire broke
This is a fairly easy repair. The challenge is keeping the new wire taut to eliminate kinks and create a uniform wire grid. I have a recent model, and my grid cutter doesn't have wire tension-adjustment screws. I couldn't pull the wire tight enough by hand, and I didn't want to risk damaging the wire by using pliers to grip it. Inste ad I used a small piece of 1-1/2 inch pvc pipe to coil the new wire and then feed it out slowly around the cutter guides. I pulled on the pipe to keep the wire taut. I had a helper hold the cutting grid while I looped the wire around each guide. It only took a few minutes to attach the new wire. The results were excellent.
