Is this where the gas tank sits. I just brought a sprit a Lowe's and put it together and the plate like this is not the box to to put the tank on

The bottom was pretty rusted and collapsed when I moved it
After removing the lid, bottle, and grates, I started removing the bolts but they were rusted in. So I took a grinder to it. It probably took an hour but had additional time on cleanup. Did the job by myself.
