The handle had snapped off
I had to unscrew the top portion of the door (8 screws), drop down the section, unscrew the unit (2 screws) and slip the metal tabs out of the wire and tabs. Then, all I had to do was slip the new tabs onto the wires and replace the screws. I did find it a bit difficult to get the tabs separated and ended up using pliers.
