Product Description

This is the replacement door handle for your microwave. It is made of black plastic and is approximately 11 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. The door handle connects to your microwave door and allows you to open and close the door. If the handle is broken, loose, or missing, this is the part that replaces it. Depending on your model you may need to remove the inside panel of the microwave door to screw the new door handle into place. This part is sold individually and is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Watched a video on how to replace door handle on YOUTUBE
MAKE SURE TO TURN POWER OFF PRIOR TO REPAIR. Open the microwave door and with a flat screwdriver. very carefully pry open the casing above glass on the inside. This will give you access to screws holing handle. Unscrew, then remove old handle and replace with new one. Carefully push casing back in place.

broken door handle
when the handle broke off it left the screw towers inside the door because they are held in with self tapping screws (they saved a dollar by not using thread inserts and machine screws) with nothing to hold on to to keep the towers from turning I drilled a 1/16 hole in them and forced the point of the awl into it put pressure on it . you will need somebody to take the screw out while you hold the door and the awl, (unless you have 3 hands)before putting tth new handle back on screw the self tapping screws in to the towers as far as they will go, they are very tight(prethreading)now remove the screws and reassemble the door. you Google directions for taking the door apart
