Vent grille is loose when the microwave door opens, how do I keep it fixed in place?

Hi Mike, thank you for the question. Probably, the screws at the top of the cover are loose, we suggest you tighten the screws. If this does not fix the issue, the vent grill, part number FIX3535252, may be broken and will need replacement. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

The vent grille tab for the retaining screw broke.
Remove the retaining screw for the vent grille and then remove the vent grille just as needs to be done to replace the charcoal filter. Replace the filter if needed and then slide on the new vent grille and secure it with the retaining screw.
