Replacement of the lid switch
Removed the old switch, conduit/wiring and put the new one in. Very easy.

My washer would not drain.
Step 1: Drained washer by hand (siphon hose)
Removed electric power and all hoses
Step 2: Moved washer into spacious work area
Step 3: Followed video for replacing lid switch (excellent presentration)
Step 4: Easily installed new lid switch
Step 5: Because of washer age, Front/Top panel was difficul ... Read more t to align with bottom rails.
Step 6: Moved washer back to laundry area and re-connected hoses and power cord.

The lid switch on our washer was broken.
I followed the instructions on the online video by loosening the control panel and disconnecting the electrical connector. Then I removed the cabinet the lid switch and wiring harness. Stopped Mid-Cycle not draining soapy water

Washer would not agitate or spin - found broken lid switch
Could not move washer out of the alcove YET - So temporarily spliced wires and sealed with shrink-tubing - BUT watching video from the site - when ready, it will be EASY!!
