Old gaskets were moldy and rigid
Most of the time was spent smoothing out the new gaskets. It is important to do this. Any wrinkle in the gasket part that creates the seal will compromise the effectiveness of the seal. I found using a blow dryer was more effective than soaking it in hot water, which was the recommendation. There is more heat and more control. Just be car eful not too apply too much heat that it melts.Once it is smooth, then remove the old gasket (easy) and make sure the grooved area is clean and dry. Insert the new gasket working from top to bottom, Start at the inside corner. I used the blow dryer again to ensure is was as smooth as possible before closing the refrigerator door. Take your time. It is an easy project for a do-it-yourself home project.

Report for new door gasket
It worked great! I had to get a 5 gallon bucket to heat the gasket in. Then I dried it out with a hair dryer. It was easy to install, once I managed to scrape off the old gasket. Thanks Fix.com
