Product Description

This is a water pressure switch hose, also known as the air dome tube, for your washer. It is made of clear plastic and is sold individually. The hose transports water to your water pressure switch, so the switch can control how much water enters the washer during a cycle. If your washer will not fill up with water, or if water continues to fill the tub even after it is full, you may have a damaged water pressure switch hose. Inspect the hose for cracks and leaks, and if the hose is damaged you will need to replace it.

Will this part help with my washer filling up with water.The wash cycle is ok, but when comes to rinse cycle tub doesn't fill with enough water.

Washer water sensor level never forced a shutoff of running water
Repaired by watching the videos and reviewing the step by steps instructions provided by this site, Excellent. Since I also subscribe to the lazy man theory I added one extra step. I used a wire Butt Connector that was a tight fit. connected one end of the butt connect (make sure it is tight enough to withstand fiction) to one end of t he new Switch hose and the other end to the Switch hose I was replacing. This allowed me to gently and easily pull the old tube out and it pulled the new tube through the tubes path.

Washer would not stop filling with water
The tools I used were a cordless drill, a torx bit, needle nosed pliers and a metal putty knife. I unplugged the washer, turned off the water and removed the hot and cold water inlet lines. I removed the four torx-head screws on top of the washer, leaned the panel forward and removed the old water pressure switch hose from the water pre ssure switch with needle nosed pliers. Then I went to the front of the washer and used a metal putty knife to open the front panel. There are two clips holding the front panel on. You can't see them but if you wedge the putty knife in the space between the top of the washer and the top of the front panel, you will feel the clips about 3 inches in on each side. Just press the putty knife in that space where the clips are and that will cause the clips to release. Once you have the front panel off, you will see a little box attached to the tub where the other end of the water pressure switch hose is attached. Before totally removing the old hose, I cut a 5 inch piece of the old hose and blew into it (while attached to that box) just to make sure the box wasn't clogged as well. I then removed that small hose and attached the new pressure switch hose to the box and up through the washer back to the pressure switch. Then I put everything back together and ran the washer through a cycle to make sure it worked. The washer worked like a charm and it felt great knowing I didn't have to spend a boatload of money on a new washer!

Would not stop filling.
Found triple water valve leaking under solenoid. Assumed defective & replaced along with pressure switch hose. No help. Replaced pressure switch. Solved.
