Dryer plastic door catch was broke on dryer
I watched several videos on how to replace the latch, but my latch was broken on one side so I took a pair of pliers and a screwdriver and pried the old one out. Push the new one in, then replaced the male catch on the door. i didn't tighten the screw holding the male latch because they use it to allign the latch with the catch.

Dryer would not start
First installed door catch and timer resistor assemblies but dryer still would not start. Thermal fuse a bit hard to get to due to tight space, but removing heat coil screw helped. Reconnected two white wires to new fuse and reinstalled heat coil. Closed lid, plugged in cord and dryer started right away! Such a relief! Saved about $150!

broken door catch
Using needle nose pliers, remove the damaged door catch. It probably was shoved into the hole after it cracked or broke. Then simply position the new catch correctly and then shove into the hole until you hear it snap into place. Done.

The latch portion in the dryer body (female part, not the part in the door) was broken
Lined up the replacement latch piece with the rectangular hole in the dryer body. Applied pressure around the edges of the new latch piece until it snapped into place. No tools needed.

Door would not stay shut.
Watched the repair video and then the replacing of the repair parts was very simple. The door can easily be reset for right or left opening and the "Catch Kit" can be replaced by removing 1 screw and snaping the catch into its proper position. Took me about 2 minutes to make the repair and kept wife happy.
