I only get dispense crushed ice even when pressing the cube or the crushed button. Is this problem in this part?

Hello Larry, Thank you for your inquiry. This is the part that catches the ice and sends it to the crusher assembly. Check this part for any visible damage or for any obstructions. Run hot water through the ice bucket to remove any jammed ice from the blades. It could also be an issue with the auger motor or the dispenser solenoid. The plunger on the solenoid is what allows the ice dispenser to switch from cubed to crushed ice and if it is sticking, then the ice bucket will remain in crushed ice mode.
