This genuine OEM part is a lower spray arm support for your dishwasher. It is found in the bottom of the dishwasher and is the piece that the lower spray arm attaches to. If this part has become damaged, it should be replaced so that your dishes are properly cleaned. To complete this repair, you will need to remove the bottom rack, lower spray arm, and the glass trap in order to access the support. No tools are required to remove any of these pieces. The old support simply twists out with a clockwise turn, and the new support can be lined up with the tabs and twisted in place with a counterclockwise turn.
