This is a single OEM carbon brush, however two are needed for your tool. It is advisable to replace both at the same time, as they tend to wear at the same rate. Replacing both brushes is usually a quick and easy fix for an underperforming motor. If excessive sparks are present, it is important to also inspect the armature for signs of damage.
