Dual burner switch lites up for each burner but neither burner works. I assume the dual burner needs to be replaced. Is that correct?

unscrewed glass top (2 screws under glass top in front). Raise glass top, mark the letters noting the bracket scew holes used on broken element. I marked the wires and the terminals. I marked the same holes on the new element with a marker. I removed the brackets, and moved the wires from the old element to the new element on at a time.

Unplug appliance. Remove 2 philips screws under each corner of the stove top so you can lift it up. Lift the top and support it with a small board.
