Burner element not working
Turned off power. Lifter cooktop up to exposed the bottom casing. Removed the knobs from the top of the cooktop. Removed the hex nut screws from the top row on all four sides just under the cook top surface. Removed cook top from the casing to expose the burner elements. Released the burner suspension brackets from the casing and lift out the burner element. Using the faulted burner element as a guide I removed the wires one at a time from the old element and connected them to the replacement element. I then unscrewed the suspension brackets from the faulty element and attached them to the new element. I then just reversed the steps to put the cooktop back together.
