Our oven is a Double Convection Oven mounted in the wall. Removing and replacing the temperature sensor was very simple, but getting the oven out of the wall and back in was the difficult part. Some notes: 1. In retrospect, I could have replaced the sensor by removing 2 screws, pulling the wire through the hole till I got to the conne ctor, and then releasing the connector. However, I could not easily work the connector through the hole and was afraid that the wire may have been clamped on the back side of the oven (it wasn't). 2. If you need to remove your oven from the wall, have a platform of similar height available to slide the oven out on. I made one out of scrap lumber I had around the house and it worked fine. 3. When sliding the oven back into the wall, be careful how the power cable is routed to the oven. We had a very tight squeeze and the power cable was a real source of frustration till we got it just right. 4. There are sharp edges on the oven, so wearing lightweight work gloves helps when moving the oven. 5. If you need to get to the back of the oven, the back cover is it is held in place by sheet-metal screws easy to remove/install. 6. To protect the plastic trim in front of the oven, I removed it prior to moving the oven. Taking a photo of this before-hand may help when putting it back together. I also removed the oven doors to make things easier. 7. In summary, if your oven is not wall mounted, replacing the temperature sensor is very easy. Good luck!
