What if the control know is not in tact
For model number NED4655EW1

Hello Pearlie, Thank you for contacting us. The plastic timer knob can be just removed and replaced with a new one. If the metal shaft is broken, then you would need to replace the switch. The dryer timer switch for your model is part# FIX11731366. We hope this helps.
