The auger (plastic) had broken after 13 years of service (lots of ice made)
Ordered the entire ice container and auger assembly and simply inserted back into the freezer of the combination Refrigerator/Freezer.

Plastic auger in ice maker shattered and drawer broke.
Pulled out the defective parts and replaced them with the new parts. To steal a line: So easy a caveman could do it.
