I am not sure if I put the wires back correctly on a detergent door new wax motor. Door still does not open automatically
Hello Bill, Thank you for your inquiry. We have included a link to our installation video for this part, but we also show if you are facing the part, the white wire goes on the back terminal and the brown wire goes in front. We hope this helps.

Removed 7 torx screws from inner door panel.Disconnected wire connectors from 2 wax motors. Removed old wax motors from snap in brackets. Cleaned door opening slide and lubricated lightly with waterproof silicone grease. While the panel was out of the door, cleaned the soap residue and made it look good. Mounted both wax motors for soap

Detergent cup opened, but gel product just trickeled down the door
Removed the 7 screws on the inside of the door with a screw driver. Pulled ( slide) the two prongs off the old wax motor and reattached them to the new one. Quick like a flash, no problems. I wasn't sure if the problem was the wax motor because the soap door was open. I suspected the door was not opening early enough to rinsed out the cup. I checked the ohms of the old motor and it did have resistance. I decided to replace it anyway, since it seemed like an easy fix. The new motor works great and the dishwasher is back to ne
... Read morew. The repair was easy. I took off the inside cover. The wax motor is held in place with 2 clips. Needed a screw driver to pry off the power clips. Placed the wires on the new motor and placed the motor back in the clips.
Follow the videos and you can't go wrong. You will need an allan wrench to take out the screws. lable the wires for color, match it up with the new motor. Pay attention to how the motor is lined up in the dishwasher. You will also need a flat screw driver to get the electrical connections off, maybe a needle nose pliers to complete the re
... Read moremoval of the wires. Since you are working with electrical part you should trip the breaker or unplug the machine. Unplugging may be very difficlut since you would have to remove the machine from from its place. There is no power to the connections, so I did not cut power. Just be careful.

Replaced wire connections, dropped inner door on outter door, held door tight, put six screws back in, ran dishwasher runs great detergent door opens now!!!
