Product Description

This is a single rack track stop clip used to prevent the upper dish rack from sliding all the way out of the dishwasher. It is made of gray plastic and can wear with time. This is an easy repair that should not take very long to complete. Start by opening the dishwasher door, depress the tabs to remove both the front stop clips and remove the upper dish rack from the appliance. Now, using your small flat head screwdriver, release the retaining tab to remove the rear stop track that you are replacing, and pull the clip up to remove it. Install the new clip by inserting it into the support rail from the top and press it down to secure it in place.

Replace Rack Wheel Assy
Slide dishwasher out from under drain board, open door, remove screw holding assembly, remove assembly. Place new assembly, tighten screw and put dishwasher back.

Wheels on original upper rack adjust fell off and end stops would not stay on.
Removed old end stops. Pulled rack out of machine. Carefully removed old adjusters. Snapped in new adjusters. Slid rack back into the runners. Clipped in the new end stops. Done.

Top tray not clean-spotty residue on dishes and glasses
The discharge hose was replaced, the original was loaded with residue but not blocked. Next I checked the possible parts to cause the problem-ordered and replaced. I did use a device, small wooden shim to assist installing the chopper. It was used to depress the spring during the installation.

Retaining clip broke on the right side top drawer stop causing it to fall out continuously
Took part out of the package and snapped it in place. Quite frankly it took longer to get it out of the package than to install. Less than 30 seconds.

For others - first instruction, don't buy Whirlpool. Compared to the KitchenAid that it replaced, it is a piece of junk. This is a Gold Series dishwasher - still junk. Tried to use instructions, hard to see pics (too dark, not descriptive), finally figured out mostly on my own. Imperative to have a Torx15 screwdriver - I didn't find the T 15 converter in my material as instructions said I would. New stainless steel parts looks much stronger than the plastic parts they replace - plastic should have never been used - junk. To replace parts, get vague idea of what is needed, will possibly be fairly intuitive after that.
