Thermostat faulty
Saw on this site about needing to give the thermostat casing a slap to start the motor, which was exactly my problem. Bought part on Saturday; it arrived Tuesday. I unscrewed single 1/4-inch hex screw and replaced the three wires one at a time so as not to confuse them. Put case back on, tightened screw and replaced knob. Everything works perfectly. Excited to not have to spend $700-$800 for a new fridge. Repair couldn't be easier!

Thermo Controller Problem
Took cover out, replace thermo controller and it worked like new. My most struggle was with the hex nut hoding cover. Because I did not know the size of it, I had to get the right size by trial and error procedure. The size of my hex nut was 1/4 inch. Once I removed the nut, everything was simple and easy.

Freezor froze up
I first replaced the defrost timer. The freezer froze up again. I put a refrigerator thermometer in the frig and found that the temperature would sometimes drop below 32 deg. After replacing the temperature control from this site the temperature has been steady and the freezer has not yet froze up. The part was exact replacement and sh ipping was amazingly fast. Installation was fast and easy. Remove one phillips screw holding control box in place, pull knob off and snap out the temperature control, unplug the wires and reverse to install the new one. don't forget to unplug the frig before you start.
