Cold water wouldn't stop running
Unplugged washer the took off the water lines the the two screws. Pulled the plate off and the water inlet valve. Took clap off and installed new one. Very easy.

No hot water coming into machine !!
Not sure if I can replace part sent to me, it does not have a bracket on back to make being able to anchor the valve to the machine. If I install this part it will be floating around inside of machine and I do not know if this is a safe way to install the new part. The part sent to me looks exactly like the old part except for the bracket , would appreciate an opinion from somebody more experienced than I am at appliance repair. Paul Thank You

cold water would not shut off
The hardest part of mounting my new inlet valve was getting the wash machine out and haveing access to work on it. Thanks to this site installation instructions,removing faulty inlet valve and putting new one on was very easy . take in consideration I am 76 years old. Thanks again. Sincerely John
